Dr. Kotwal’s area of special interest is Hand and Upper Extremity. He has obtained advanced training from USA and Germany. He has expertise in managing complex fractures and dislocations of the upper extremity (from shoulder to finger tips of the hand), including neglected injuries. He has routinely performed total joint replacements of the shoulder, elbow, wrist and small joints of the hand. He has acquired proficiency in the reconstructive surgery of the hand, including congenital deformities/ anomalies, rheumatoid hand and tendon and nerve injuries, etc.
