I recently consulted Dr Neerja Gupta for my father's renal cell carcinoma and would rate her very highly. She is one of the most dedicated and compassionate doctor I have met.

My father had developed a lot of fluid in his lungs and had got the fluid removed through the plueral aspiration process. He was prescribed to get a PET scan done when his breathlessness did not subside even after the fluid removal. As the PET scan results were very alarming and suggested that my father had renal tumors in advanced stages I contacted Dr Neerja Gupta who is a well known oncologist. She gave us timely advise to get a biopsy done and also guided us through the process in the difficult covid times.

There were few complications but Dr Neerja handled these with great alacrity and perseverance.

She charted out the detailed action plan as to how we should go about the treatment as surgery was not advised. She referred us to Dr Rajat Saha for Oncology medicine.

On the whole it has been a great interaction with Dr Neerja. She has been a pillar of strength for us .She keeps a great rapport with her patients and always keeps them in a positive state of mind.

After having diagnosed breast carcinoma LB, we discussed the matter with our elder brother residing at Vaishali and we decided to take the patient at MAX Patparganj. Our first appointment at MAX was with Dr. Neerja Gupta, Onco surgeon. After examining the patient, she suggested some tests. The reports of the tests came within 3-4 days. The worthy doctor charted the plan for treatment viz 4 cycles of chemo + surgery+ 12 weekly injection Paclitaxel. Dr. Gupta who is very courteous, sympathetic and above all a very noble human being advised the patient to remain positive and determined during the treatment. She also introduced us to Dr. Meenu Walia, a well known and experienced Medical Oncologist. She too is very nice, polite and supportive.

1st chemo was given on 11/2/19 and 2nd was given on 25/2/19, 3rd on 15/3/19 & 4th on 30/3/19. During review appointments, Dr. Meenu Walia told us that the size of tumor was decreasing, a significant improvement. She advised us to see Dr. Neerja Gupta for surgery. After few tests, Dr. Neerja successfully completed the surgery on 17/4/19 . In the post surgery reports, Dr. Neerja told us there is no problem and nothing to worry and fear now as the reports are good. That was a morale boosting result.

There after, the next course of treatment i.e., 12 weekly injections Paclitaxel started on 13/5/19. Till date 10 have completed and 2 are left which are likely to be completed on 31/7/19. Then RT will be done and we will follow up the same as per the directions of the honourable doctors.

We were clueless and was tensed what to do next. When we first met her at Narayana hospital vasundhara enclave, she helped us to understand the situation and explained every detail of the disease and it's treatment. After which we have gained atleast a positive attitude towards our treatment and a hope that everything will be better. She was very friendly during our treatment and helpful at every stage of my treatment. I have undergone breast and axcillary surgery recently done by Dr Neerja and it went off successfully. As I entered in the hopital I saw the staff was very friendly and helpful. I registered my name as a patient specially requested them for a lady Oncologist. Hopital recommed me to Dr. Neerja Gupta. When I met her, I found her very friendly and almost forgot that she is a doctor, she always met me like a friend and encouraged me get my surgery done at the earliest.

Finally she did my surgery and I feel quite fit within five days of my sugery. I'm very thankful to the hospital and specially to the Dr Neerja Gupta.
