My name is Verlona and I am a Sierra Leonean living in the U.K. I came to India with Mr X who is my husbands brother who was severely ill and in unyeilding pain.

Firstly I was well impressed with Dr Vikas Guptas approach and I remember telling him that he has a way of making people feel comfortable which is obviously good for patients visiting the hospital. He diagnosed the problem at a glance and was very confident when he told the Patient that he would do his surgery the next day. I was like WOW !!! He went to to explain the Procedure before and after surgery and he made sure to check on the patients progress daily until he deemed it fit to discharge .He has a very good team and all the doctors in his team are well mannered and communicate well with the patient and family. The doctors play a great role in motivating me and the patient.

He also referred us to an experienced physiotheraphy and rehabilitation team that are currently doing an excellent Job in getting Mr X mobility back.

Overall, I will say i am impressed with everyone I have come across during this period in Manipal hospital but particularly satisfied with Dr Vikas Gupta for his professionalism, cautiousness, thoughtfullness, patience and encouragement but most of all his expertise. Together with his team they did an excellent job and I believe I speak for the patient when I say we are totally satisfied by the treatment.
