Dr. Sumit Mrig

My name is Rajesh kumar, NRI working with Emirates Airline based in DOHA-QATAR, I had the left EAR discharge issue for past one and half year. Have visited several doctors here in Doha, they only give me antibiotics and some ear droops and they could only tell me that I have an ear infection it will be ok soon. After taking the antibiotics for a week my ear becomes dry but that was a temporary relief as it started discharge again after two three months.

Again the same thing repeated by the doctor but this time the discharge did not stop and doctor advised for CT scan. After the CT scan it was found that I have to go for a Tympanoplasty surgery and even it was advised that I have to the surgery as soon as possible as the infection was already reached to my hearing bones and effecting my hearing.

Then I decided to do the operation back home and started searching for best ENT doctors on google and on YouTube, both the google and the You Tube suggested the ‘’DR SUMIT MRIG’’ on the top.

Without giving second thought I had booked an appointment and travelled back to Delhi to do the surgery.

On my first appointment only I found that doctor and his staff is very friendly with the patient. As it was clear that I have to go for a surgery without wasting time doctor the date was fixed for the surgery.

I had breathing issues for which I got Septoplasty and B/l ITR done by Dr Sumit Mrig

Pre-op: I was breathing 50% on a pollution free day and nothing on a bad day. Usual congestion and headcold in the mornings.

Thankfully, I knew Dr Mrig and recommend him with flying colors. He suggested surgery as a permanent solution instead of constant sprays.

Post op: Just 3 days after the surgery and I have so much air coming in now, it is overwhelming. I'm a bit light headed.

It was a great experience to meet Dr. Sumit Mrig. I visited him at max hospital Saket on 13.6.16 with ear discharge problem which was causing me a discomfort from past few months .After a detailed diagnosis he explained me that I was suffering with acute chlosteotama disease. He recommended that in this disease the best treatment is to undergo mastoidectomy surgery. He explained me about the complexities I have to deal with, if I delay the surgery. He was very patient and responded to my queries related to surgery. Finally I underwent for the surgery on15.6.16.at max hospital Saket where he is a senior Ent surgeon . I am very thankful to Dr. Sumit for successfully conducting the surgery. After the surgery I went to his clinic at Dwarka for follow up Visits. The clinic is very well maintained with latest technology equipments. Despite being one of the most renowned Ent clinic in West Delhi, the fees is very nominal, compared to his Rich experience. Dr. Mrig talks very positively with the patients. His winning smile adds to his personality. Today, I am very happy that I underwent the surgery on his recommendation. I am feeling good that my illness has been cured and my hearing is improved. I express my gratitude to Dr. Mrig for guiding me and curing my illness. I never recommend him. I met once and never gone again.

I took my mum there and initially found the doctor to be friendly, but a little while found him to be rude. He asked if my mother is working somewhere and when she said she isn't, he made fun of her that she isn't utilising her time well. We both took it in light humor but it didnt stop there. He then asked where do we stay and when we said Neb Sarai, he made fun of the poor surrounding where we stay. This feedback is for him to realise that he needs to respect all his patients and needs to build some sensitivity towards all. * ***** ** ** ***** ****** **** *** **** * *** ************ ** *** ******* **** ** ******* ** ***** **** *********** ******* ** *** ****** *** *** ****** **********

Even the treatment of ear cleaning wasn't to our satisfaction and in spite of my mum complaining that the other ear hasn't been washed, ** ****** *** **** ***** All for being a award winning doctor whose insensitive jokes we took in good humor. I would not like visit this doctor for my horrible experience and not showing respect to my mother in spite of we qualifying to receive the basic respect as we had payed for that visit with him.

Very bad experience of my Life after meeting dr like Sumit Mrig.I had appointment with Dr. Sumit Mrig 17th Aug 2019, 11:20 AM for my Mother (Shyam kali), but he arrived late by 2 hours. The appointment was finished within 2 minutes without listening my mother's pain in neck (Lump). *** ***** *** **** *** ******** * *********** ** *** ***** ***** **** ****** ***** ****** **** ***** ****** ****** ****** ****** ** ****** *** *** * *** *******

I never expect such kind of languages from a qualified doctor. I feel ********** *** humiliated by dr. Sumit.

He also didn't give a single medicine to my mother except neck usg. * **** ***** **** * ****** *** ** ***** **** ***** ** ** ******* ******* I strongly suggest you not to visit to this doctor as he didn't even tried to notice the pain area. Please take care yourselves *** ***** **** ******* *** * ****** ******* Dr. Sumit didn't see USG words, I had to see other ENT dr. ******* for my mother complaint. * **** ***** **** ** *** *** ** **** ******* ******** ** *** ***** *** *** **** ******** *** *********** Such behaviour of dr. is unacceptable specially when you are treating an elderly patient.

I used it *** ** **** ********** I went back next day and then he made me undergo some tests which I had to pay for. * **** *** * **** ******* ** *** ******** **** ** **** ********** **** *** ****** * ** ******* He did not charge consultation but I still had to pay for the tests. This according to me was not right. It's my opinion. I would not recommend him to anybody.

After diagnosing my ear problem, he suggested me surgery and I must say that I am extremely relieved after that. I am very satisfied with his services and his entire team. Not only the doctor but his full team is very supportive and responsive.

Lastly the application Catex health designed by him is extremely helpful and informative- answered most of my doubts/questions pre and post surgery.

Very competent and absolutely professional doctor. I consulted him for bleeding from my nostrils. He explained the various possible reasons for bleeding. Than explained what are different courses of actions available to him and to me, followed by his professional opinion what should be done.

On my consent he explained the process, the time it will take and how will it be done. All along he was very competent in answering all my quarries.

He did the cauterization process with minimum of pain and explained to me the healing time and post cauterization treatment.

He was very meticulous in his follow up whenever I met him afterwards.

I am very satisfied and would recommend him to everyone for his competency and care.

My mother who is 75 years old , developed Warthin's Tumor in Parotid glands.( behind the ear) . Dr. Sumit Mrig , surgeon HOD , dept of ENT , Max Smart Super Speciality Hospital Saket, Performed a very fine sugery on Jan 7th, 2019. Her case was very rare and complicated . The surgeon had to perform the surgery with great care to protect the nerves which were entangled and unusually branched out . *** ******* *** * ***** ******* *** no facial deformity was observed post surgery.
