My experience with this doctor was quite different from review I read on practo. I found the doctor uninterested in patient's needs. Firstly the fee on practo is shown as 1000/- but the doctor charged Rs 2000/-.Pl. update the fee as per actual.I took my father-in -law ( 74 yr) to him on 03.1.17 as he was feeling loss of control in urinating for 2-3 weeks. The doctor asked for ultrasound, blood test etc.As hospital's Path lab told the report would be available next day we could take the report to the doctor on 04.1.17.He charged 1000/- again,on asking for charging again he was very rude and said he was giving his time so has to charge again.Charging twice for one-time advice is very unethical. For patient his advice was straight away operation(after 4-5 days) which would cost 1.5 lakh.On being requested to consider first milder treatment, medicine etc.in view of patient's age /weak condition (as he is undergoing heart treatment at AIIMS)he said he was not aware of any other medicine and I have to see some nephrologist for this. His behaviour ,overall, was not like a doctor but a medical trader. Finally he said his only solution is surgery and he is not concerned with heart treatment .He needlessly also started to run down doctors at AIIMS.Finally I had to take the patient elsewhere after wasting my time and money with this doctor.I was quite surprised to find such behaviour at a big hospital as Ganga Ram.I am posting this so that others are armed with this info.beforehand. - M.
