My mother traveled to India from abroad specifically to see Dr. Sonica Gupta. My mother has advanced glaucoma and an advanced cataract in her left eye. Since my mother had previous glaucoma surgery, cataract surgery was very complicated as it might affect the glaucoma again. But from the outset, Dr. Sonica conducted a thorough examination and decided to perform a cataract operation. At every step prior to the surgery, she communicated all the things we could expect, and every question was answered in great detail. The surgery day went very smoothly. It was a successful surgery.
