I have a problem with joint since younger age , i have consulted many doctors for the same , usually they prescribe some pain killers and i was being told that it is due to my VSD. This painful chapter was continued in every 3..4 months cycle since 8--9 years .

I visited a very known cardiac surgeon for my VSD issue and tell him that why i am having a regular joint pain though my vsd is very small and it is not in a critical stage.

As per his suggestion i visited this wonderful lady , My first counselling was around 40 mins in fact more than that , she patiently listened to my problems and given me a list of tests that needs to be done in order to properly diagnose my problem, firstly i was scared as list is too long and tests are costly !!

still i can remember her words "Beta these are once in a life time tests , so you may not need to do the same test again".

Now Finally i got some relief from this regular joint pain .

She is the most humble doctor I have known till date. I had knee swelling for almost a year in Germany.I took ibuprofen as suggested by my doctor here.For one year I have struggled and nothing was diagonsed. Finally I decided to visit India to find the solution and met her. At first appointment she spent about an hour to understand my medical history and checked all the joints.She suggested to do some tests and removed liquid from my knee and gave me joint injection. That relieved me immediately.Soon the problem was diagonsed and treatment was started.In few days I felt so much better.I almost wanted to give up my career here in Germany and move back to India because of my knee problem but I can never forget how she motivated me to continue and solved my problem.

I am really thankful. She is so down to earth and dedicated to her profession.

I have consulted rheumatologist from PGI to Gangaram to Medanta Medicity, hands down *** ** *** *** **** ** *** ****** Being from a healthcare work experience, I knew my disease well, but when I visited her I got to know every little detail, every possible side effect of medicines, and every possible treatment for my disease. It has been 2 years with her and every time she meets like a family, and thoroughly checking each and evry joint in the body. She even went out of her way and regularly talked to my doctors in Medicity, when I was admitted there for a different disease. She is godsent. I would like to suggest if anyone has pain in joints or feel fatigue for sure visit to a Rheumatologist.

Dr. Mehra is everything you want from a doctor but don't get to see often - friendly, humane, genuinely curious about your illness to give you the appropriate treatment. She asked me to explain my ailment in detail and from the beginning, so that she could make a more informed prognosis. I can easily say that Dr.Mehra has given me the most time than any other doctor. Additionally, she encouraged me to ask questions and seeks the answers I was looking for, and addressed them in the most patient manner.

Dr. Sonal Mehra is an expert in her field and her approach to the disease and treatments is fabulous. She instilled confidence and clarity on my condition and gave best advice on medicines. Since yesterday after her medications, I m feeling far better than before and pain has almost subsided. Also further medications and exercise course is clear to me by her.
