Dr. Shankar Acharya is a specialist of spinal problem. He played a role of God in my life who gave me new life. I met with him when I was suffering from very serious spinal problem. I had very bad pain in my back which was unbearable. My family took me in every hospital but no one able to find exact problem. Whenever the doctors saw me they said to my parent that it's batter to take her back at home because she has T.B. and we can't safe her now. My parent got very disappointed by seeing the reactions of the doctors towards to me. My parent and I lost the hope to stand up again on my foots and live a normal life. Then, one day someone told to my parent about Dr Shankar Acharya and we met with him. After diagnose me, he stopped immediately my all T.B. medicine. And told us the exact problem, that my last 4 spinal codes from down was completely damage and need to operate. He gave me very good treatment. I took little bit long time to recover from my problem but today I am able to run on my own feets which could be possible just because of his treatment. Dr. Acharya I am really thankful to you from the depth of my heart, just because of you I am able to see this world again. I have no words to express my gratitude to you but you are such a wonderful person as well as such a wonderful and nice doctor also. Thanks a lot!

The doctor made my 65+ mother wait for 1.5 hours and then spent all of 5 mins to diagnose her problem. I had called her from Rohtak specially to meet this doctor as I had read good reviews abt him.

The doctor made my 65+ mother wait for 1.5 hours and then spent all of 5 mins to diagnose her problem. I had called her from Rohtak specially to meet this doctor as I had read good reviews abt him.

He glanced at her x-ray and just said that 'wait and replace'. No such thing as some sympathy with an aging patient and gradually sharing the news. Other docs have asked her to exercise and take medications to delay the urgency (as the artificial knees last all of 15 years). Even for an otherwise active person it comes as rude shock.

He charged a whopping 1200 bucks and took all cash (there was no machine provision even at Ganga Ram Hospital)

The agony didnt end there. After payment there was bunch of thigs working with the doc who were hard-selling other products like knee cap, shoes and walking stick. Kept disparaging branded products and pushed their products so hard that we felt we are in Palika Bazaar.

Overall, very poorly managed, unprofessional and uncourteous behavior by all involved (1200 bucks for 5 mins chat!)
