Dr. Shakuntla Shukla

My experience with Shakuntla ma’am was very good. My all problems were solved as well i am satisfied with the treatment.

*** ** **** **** ******* listens to the problems of the patient minutely and suggests the best options available for treatment. I was about to come to the clinic now to inform the doctor that my wife is Ok now by God's Grace She is taking electral and trying to recover. Thankyou so much for helping us out in every hour of need.

It has been one year when we visited doctor when I was only 6 weeks pregnant with high risk complications due to bleeding. Then I came to know about doctor Shukla through practo and we trusted her on the basis of the amount of experience and feedback provided on the practo site.

She is just phenomenal and like a goddess to us she handled my high risk pregnancy with utmost care. She never made us feel threatened and always motivated us with positivity.

Now with the Grace of god and her efforts we have our seven month baby.

Today, 24th jan 2016, me and my wife decided not to visit AASTHA MEDICAL CENTRE again and we have the following feedback:

1) There is less or No coordination between the front desk support staff and Dr Shankutla.

My wife treatment was going at AASTHA Centre with Dr Shakuntla. And she was not feeling well and From last three days she tried calling the reception so many times to collect and discuss about her reports which they had and the problems she is facing. And everytime the people at the front desk always telling that the doctor is busy and they will inform the doctor and we will arrange callback. But we never received any callback.

She tried calling Dr Shakuntla number as well and got the response that she will be given a callback in 10 minutes but no callback again.

2) Very Unprofessional behavior:

Since we are not getting any response so the fourth day i.e. on 24th Jan 2015 (Sunday) i called at the reception to book an appointment for us. The support staff at the reception booked an appointment for us 24th Jan 2015 (Sunday) 01:00 PM. And to our shock when we reached their the lady at the support staff very casually said the Dr Shankutla is busy and not available.

And you can take your reports.

My question is if the doctor is not available then:

a) How come you booked the appointment if Dr Shakunta was not available ?

b) And why didn't you informed the patient, even at the last minute, if there is no availability of Dr Shankutla ? Fortunately we are residing within 02 km range. Think if the patient is residing far.

My message to Dr Shakuntla

a) If you are charging your patient so high and in lieu of that they receive this kind of unprofessional service and behavior from you and your staff, then what's the difference in between Government and Private clinics?

b) I agree that being a doctor you might be very busy. But if on phone you said to callback in 10 mins then you should call the patient. Same goes with your support staff.

And we finally decided not the visit AASTHA MEDICAL CENTRE again.

I had an appointment with the doctor at 5. I called day before to confirm about the appointment as well and the receptionist told me she’ll call me in an hour. Did not receive a call back. I reached at the clinic at 5 and was told the doctor will be available At 6:30 as she’s not in the clinic. They didn’t even bother to inform before and I was standing in the rain because it’s so difficult to locate their clinic as well.

Please keep your patients informed about the timings of the doctor or update the correct timings here as nobody has so much time, money and effort to waxte. I literally came and went back for nothing.

Medicine prescribed by her was not available in many pharmcy so i visted her again to get substitute so she asked me to take medicine from her prescribed pharmacy only ..also rudely described that "pharmicist is suppose to honor prescription"so my treatment got delayed by 5days because of all this.she was just hearing not listening also considered not answering many questions .higly dissatisfied with her .

Not satisfied with the treatment. Bad experience. Without asking me once she did all test of around 5k....atleast she should discuss about all required test once with me.....after that according to my reports she prescribed me medicines which was not available in market accept the chemist she has nearby to her clinic. Very disappointed with treatment and prescription. I wouldn't recommend.

My overall experience till now is good with Dr.She listens problems properly,not always in hurry like other Dr, then prescribe medicines.I found some problems with co-ordination with reception and other lab assistant mainly for reports collection and proper feedback about reports.

Dr. is genuine still i am taking prescribed medicines.

*** ********** ****** ** *** ** *** **** ******* * **** **** She was very nice and very patient with my many queries. All my problems have been dealt with completely. The professional attitude was commendable and the facilities at Aastha Medical Centre are top notch.

I’d recommend visiting Dr. Shukla *** *** **** ********* ** *** *****

** ********* ****** ***** ** *** **** ****** *** *** *** *** ***** Personalised practice and all relevant medical needs are available on every visit to her; besides she is always available in all the large corporate setups as well and we can get admitted there under her when needed, though we have always preferred Aastha Medical Centre for basic and short admissions as it is mush more hassle free and better in many ways. Insurance too doesn’t cause any reimbursement problems as far as I’ve experienced. Been taking care of my family for twenty years now !
