My wife had cholecystectomy in Kolkata for GB calculus in July 1993, which caused biliary stricture & obstructive jaundice. Corrective surgery (hepaticojejunostomy) done also in Kolkata after 20 days in August 1993 also did not function properly. After 10 months, we had to fly to AIIMS, NewDelhi, where Dr. Nundy was the HOD of GI Surgery at that time. He operated for revision hepticojejunostomy in May 1994. The patient is ok since then. Afterwards, we visited Dr. Nundy several times at SGRH and once also at his house in Kolkata in 1995. That was a great experience.

Doctor Nundy had all the medical degrees from London.

His degree is M.A., M.Ch, FRCP, FRCS. He has highest qualification in medicine as well as surgery.
