I came to India from London around mid dec 2021 for a family emergency. I was 5 months pregnant but everything was fine. Not knowing much about Max Vaishali, I took opd of available gynae Dr. Rini Goyal. With time around 34 weeks pregnancy, I felt less fetal movements which I shared with my doc. She was very active and based on NST reports, she asked me to get admit and take steroids cover for baby's lungs development in case of premature birth. Post taking steroid cover, I had experienced fast heart rate (Tachycardia). My doctor came to visit me in labor room to clear the reason for my anxiety issues along with echo done instantly. Within a week, I had my normal opd scheduled in which the doc asked me to undergo emergency CS as the baby's heartbeat was falling. She didn't want to take any risk as I had IUGR case plus a cord around my baby's neck and my own tachycardia issue. The steroid cover was already taken so she was confident that baby will do well although it was just 35weeks. It was all of sudden, but operation went smooth and baby was delivered at 34weeks5days. So, as you read my case, the doctor had done all that she could do for my smooth delivery. She and her team at Max Vaishali handled the case with utmost professionalism and planning.
