Dr. Peeyush Jain is presently engaged as Director, Non-invasive Cardiology and Head, Department of Preventive Cardiology. After pursuing MBBS from Maulana Azad Medical College, New Delhi (1973-1978), Dr. Jain did MD (Medicine) from the same Institute. Further, he did post-doctoral fellowship in Cardiology (DM) from GB Pant Hospital in 1987 and worked at All India Institute of Medical Sciences for some time. Dr. Peeyush Jain is an internationally renowned leading expert in Cholesterol Management, Hypertension, Diabetes, Cardiovascular Nutrition, and long-term care of heart and blood vessel diseases. He joined Fortis-Escorts Heart Institute in 1993 to establish the first Department of Preventive and Rehabilitative Cardiology in the country. It was at a time when the concept of preventing heart disease by lifestyle and risk factor management was practically unknown in India.
Amazing doctor and person. He is the doctor who focuses more on preventive side of the treatment of the disease along with curing the current problem /disease. Is a very good counselor and does not prescribe unnecessary tests and medicines. He is very friendly but can be harsh on you if you do not follow the prescribed medication and timely checkups to improve your condition. The patients visiting him are from all the socio-economic background, The way he handles the patient is mind blowing.He is very patient in listening to the patients and then addressing their queries and explaining the entire situation to them. The medication prescribed by him is very effective and if you follow what he says, you would be up and running in no time.
If you have any heart related problem or you suspect or experience any symptoms of High BP or heart murmur.....you must meet him!!

** ** * *** * **** ** * **** **** *****I am rajesh I visited to Dr for serious issue..my father gone cabg in Apollo 2002 .now he has some serious issue .like chest pain . breathlessness..I came here with lot of hope to discuss our case ..my father sit in front of Dr he asked questions is OK..then he asked why u not come in mornings time..i recommend test..I have all test report including blood CBC ,USG,ECG,ECHO,and emergency prescription..he simply told me u have to come mornings time very rudely .and ..he is busy all time to making typing on desktop .then funky recommend test and told me come day after tomorrow...he is not listing what for we came**** ***** *** **** ***** ************
