His world in the field of ophthalmology has been recognized both nationally and internationally, for which he has been awarded by international bodies.His pivotal role has been in the development of DPLEI – A Referral Vitreo-retinal Centre, where all modern diagnostic and treatment modalities are available. He has also published many scientific papers, especially in laser and vitreo-retinal surgery in various national and international journals.During his last 25 years of practice in the field of ophthalmology, he has accumulated extensive knowledge and experience, which he is trying to share with others through hispublications. He has visited a large number of countries all over the world to deliver lecture and participate in conferences etc. he has recently been honored with Bharat Jyoti Award 2003 for his outstanding work in the field of ophthalmology. At present, he is also a Technical Expert for NABH for assessment of Hospitals, Vice President, Consortium for Accredited Health Care Organization (CAHO) and Secretary General, Foundation of Ophthalmic and Optometry Research Education Centre (FOOREC).

Generation of a negligible income would surely be insufficient to pay the clinical bills and other medical and surgical fees for my wife's retina displacement. At the same time quality and super specialty , as Mr Dr. Pattnaik franchises was the need , for the treatment of my wife.
every thing become possible for me when Dr. Pattnaik's Hospital accepted me as an special consideration , With some discounts and relaxation , my wife got operated. well, she is now doing fine , and under observation. Dr. Pattnaik has done a great deed, i can now go to my work of spreading the message of kushti wrestling while my wife is recovering as time passes.

i m not stisfied with doctor services.. on 4 sep 2014 he did my lasik surgry..he gave me asurity tht in future i will not face any problem of bad vision..but aftr some time of oprtration i went to him ..and told himm tht i m facing the problem of bad vision..he gave me some medicines..but till now i have a same problem...

Dr nabin kumar is one of the best experienced eye dr in New Delhi. He is nice and very intelligent Dr . Also the fee is very reasonable than others. He love his profession than money he is expert in his field I strongly recommend him to everyone, hard to find like him .

He charges very high, such as bed charge for a hour is 1200,OT charges 5500,OT consumables 6800, Surgeon fee 19000,Asst fee. 30000, cost of IOL,9500,Total charges 45000,it is very costly.
