He did his MD in General Medicine in 2003 and then obtained the postdoctoral DM super speciality degree in Gastroenterology from GB Pant Hospital in 2009. He has completed a 6-week dedicated Endoscopy Ultrasound (EUS) Fellowship from the Institute of Advanced Endoscopy in Mumbai, and a 3-week EUS Fellowship in Montreal, Canada. Dr. Garg has vast experience in treating liver, biliopancreatic and gut-related disorders. Dr. Garg has a number of publications to his name as co-author in national and international indexed journals. He has presented many of these orally or as posters, and won awards for his presentations on several occasions.
