* Dr. Bedi did his post-graduation from MAMC and after doing his Sr. Residency from LNJP Hospital, went to England where he worked for about 12 yrs. He has worked in various University Hospitals there with many a Specialist of international acclaim. * He has been back now for over 7 yrs and is practising in Fortis Hospital, Vasant Kunj as Director Orthopaedics. It felt more like he was busy in his own personal work all the time. Behaviour towards patients was aweful. Making of faces and I even heard an objectionable comment for the queue of patients. ** *** *** **** ** *** ***** ****** *** later when i was suffering in pain he refused to talk on phone. Did not even reply to the texts. *** ***** **** ****** *** ** **** *** **** ** ****** *** unfortunately mine was an emergency case and I wanted help asap. I will recommend this hospital to anyone.

Visited For Meniscus Injury
I had went in with an existing diagnosed problem of meniscus tears in both knee including minor deformity in the structure giving me a long term pain in the knees. The doctor took a very unbiased approach, understood my symptoms first, looked at the tests and told me my options. He was very pragmatic in explaining the options and also mentioned the success rates of each options frankly. Overall, I had a very good visit. Following are the pros and cons.
What went well?
- Doctor gave an excellent description of the problem, the potential options and success rate of the options in a way I would understand
- He went out of his way to arrange for a laptop to see the MRI, X-Ray images I was carrying in a CD
- He devoted ample time to me. Overall, he interacted with me for more than 45 mins
- Do not expect an Apollo/Fortis like facilities but the Doctor is at par if not better than the doctors of the large hospital chains.
What could be better?
- When I arrived, I had to wait for almost 30 mins to see the doctor. Probably, because he was giving enough time for the last patient. I believe it might be better to keep the appointment for 30 mins rather than 15 mins in cases of ortho care

The Doctor is repeatedly going out of the room in midst of discussion /appointment for taking calls.. Appeared as if he wants to quickly be done with you and take on next patient inside
Honestly, 1100/- is too expensive to pay for a doctor who does not have time for you and ushers in a new patient ... leaves you wondering that he has no time for you and your time is over
