He was awarded the most prestigious 'Padma Shri Award' by the Hon. President of India Shri Pranab Mukherji (2013).In addition to Coronary Artery Surgery, he has thousands of valve surgeries and congenital heart surgeries to his credit.He is committed to doing free heart surgeries for underprivileged children under the Rotary Foundation 'Gift of Life' scheme with additional support from Max India Foundation and Health Education and Research Trust.

I paid for Dr Ganesh K Mani but after a lots of waiting time, there was Dr Kumar Aditya - (Associate consultant) to assist me. It was very disappointing. It should be mentioned clearly if Dr for which I have taken appointment would be there at the scheduled time or not. I went there from Vikaspuri and paid Rs.1400 as consultation fee.
