Dr. Ashish Vashishth did his MBBS and MS in ENT from Delhi University at the prestigious University College of Medical Sciences and associated Guru Teg Bahadur Hospital, New Delhi. He then completed three years of academic senior residency from Safdarjung Hospital and associated Vardhaman Mahavir Medical College in 2014. Safdarjung hospital is one of the largest hospitals in the country and caters to not just the most complicated and neglected cases but also to an extremely high volume of outpatient and surgical cases. Dr. Vashishth did his clinical fellowship training in Otoiogy, Neurotology, Lateral Skull Base Surgery and advanced auditory implants (Cochlear and Brainstem implants) in 2016-2017 for one year in Piacenza, Italy at the prestigious Gruppo Otologico, under Prof Mario Sanna. The fellowship training encompassed state of the art surgical management of hearing loss through cochlear implantation, tumors of the temporal bone, jugular foramen, facial nerve and cerebellopontine angle lesions such as vestibular schwannoma. He obtained the Board certification of European board of Otorhinolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery (FEB ORL-HNS) in 2017 at Vienna.Dr. Vashishth further obtained the Joint European Diploma in Endoscopic Endonasal Skull Base Surgery from the Paris Diderot University in 2018. This entailed advanced surgical removal of skull base, sinus and brain tumors through nose as well as advanced sinus surgery, including complicated revision surgeries.Dr. Vashishth has published more than 12 original research papers in highly acclaimed international journals on topics of cochlear implantation, middle ear surgery and fungal rhinosinusitis. I strongly recommend Dr. Ashish Vashishth, the Snr ENT Consultant at the Manipal hospital at Dwarka, New Delhi India to the general public. He is very friendly, knowledgeable and takes his time to explain the procedures involved in the treatment, the possible risks and his recommended treatment. I am from Ghana and in October 2021, I brought my son 27 years of age who was born with deformed ears and could hardly hear for cochlear OSIA 2 implant. The surgery for the implant was successful and the child can clearly hear now.

Today I went to Dr, Ashish in manipal for the removal of foreign body in my son's nose....after seeing he recommended endoscopy with anesthesia ******* **** ****** ** ****** *** ******* ***** I was not convinced with his consultation so I went for second opinion ***** *** ****** ****** ******* *** ******* **** **** ** ***** ***** I was really disappointed by Dr Ashish's consultation.

Doctor didn't give enough time to examine and explain the problem. Was not very friendly also. His daughter was playing around disturbing the consultation. It was not worth the money spent (Rs. 9500/=).

I don't think Dr even gave more than 2,3 minutes.and he didn't check my throat infection I was in pain in front of him..he just check me from back and than he write medicine for 10 days. that's all from his side.he even not tell me what should I avoid to eat..only for 2,3 minutes I pay 1060 rs..bcoz the hospital charge 160 rs extra for registering..
Got a strong recommendation of Dr. Vashisht by someone. No denying the fact that, ** ** *** ** *** **** *** ********** * **** **** ***. He explained the issue in a detailed manner and even the solution/ treatment was also satisfactory. I went for my mother's positional vertigo treatment, he did not prescribe any medicine as he felt that could have suppressed her problem and not cured. So he gave a therapy which has definitely helped my mother and she is in a better shape now.

I visited doctor in Manipal Hospital for treatment of ear infction. Hospital was very clean and well maintained. Instrument used by doctor is clean and hygenic.Doctor identified the problem accurately and prescribed me the medicine which cured my problem in 1-2 day. I am satisfied with the treatment.Just one feedback - Doctor can be little bit more vocal about problem and can explain to patient the cause or precaution if any. Rest is fine :)
