I had received mixed feedback for him from people who had visited him. For those who visited him for skin related issues seem to have fared better than the ones who visited him for hair related issues. Two separate people who visited him for hair fall related issues told me that he tends to prescribe steriods for hair fall issue which had long term negative results for these patients. Hence they discontinued treatment with him.

Since I had skin related issue, I decided to give it a try. I visited him in Dec 2015 at Sunder Lal Jain Hospital. After taking about 2 mins to look at my skin, he prescribed me certain facewash, lotion and some oral medicine. He did not say what the problem was. He did not say anything at all. Just wrote down prescription and handed it to me. I wanted to understand the course of treatment. So I asked him what are the medicines for, he replied, "What kind of a weird question is this? I am giving them because you need them. You have a problem. That's why you are here. And I am giving you medicine for that. Why are you asking such stupid questions?"

Talk about being rude!!! He crossed all limits of his profession and decency that day.

I was shocked to hear his reply. I have visited many doctors in past and they all have been very forthcoming in answering my queries. As a patient it is natural for you to want to understand the cause of your illness. But I am surprised in this age of internet awareness and knowledge, there are still doctors like Anil Ganjoo out there who are sitting on their high horse. Who believe that patients are wasting his time by wanting to understand the underlying cause of their problem. Who believe that patients are illiterate inferior beings and it's ok to insult them because they have nowhere else to go.
