In the nascent stage of his medical education he developed a keen interest and empathy for the suffering caused by mental illness. Thereafter he cleared his post graduation examination with flying colours ans joined the prestigious Maulana Azad Medical College, and Gobind Ballabh Bhai Pant Institute of medical education and research for training into Psychiatry and mental health. He imbibed the essential ingredients of being a caring and efficient Psychiatrist and professional. Later on he went on to do Senior Residency and was chosen to be in an academic and teaching position as an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at Institute of Human Behaviour and Allied Sciences (IHBAS) which is a tertiary care autonomous organization working with the problems of Brain and Mind.
He was able to earn many laurels during his career as a Psychiatrist and mental health professional including being awarded the Ravi Pandey memorial award for the best young Psychiatrist by the Delhi Psychiatric Society.
He possesses a never ending zeal and dedication towards healing the problems related to brain and mind. He has often been described as a calm, dedicated, and warm clinician by patients, peers and superiors working with him. He is always available ans accessible to his patients and their needs of care and support. His ability to listen and communicate clearly and efficiently has been commendable ans praise worthy.
