Dr. Alka Bhasin

I've seen doctors all my life for my mother but Dr Alka is something else. Consultation with her feels like working on a research paper with your guide. She discusses everything at length. The cause, the condition, the medicine, the options, the threats, the precautions, the plans, the goals, every bit. She's medical ethics personified. I can only hope India gets more and more doctors like her

My mother had a kidney removed for a tumor. She has been doing well under constant guidance and monitoring of Dr Bhasin. She is a very thorough and methodical doctor with only her patients well being at heart. She may prescribe a number of tests and have low patience for medically incorrect patient or other doctor’s behaviour, but it only shows her concern for patients wellbeing.

We have been taken well care off by her over the past 2 years. Waiting period and stuff.... we don’t care in front of the guidance we get.

She is not a friendly doctor, very rude, never seats on her seat, and make u wait for 5-6 hours and in the end she refers it to their juniors. She only sees 7/8 patients in a day and take slow to respond, I didn't liked her the ways She rudely behaved even with her staff, I have visited her in max smart saket and from 1:30 to 3 She made me wait and she left her seat around 2 pm and told everybody that she is coming dn she came around 3 and denied to see patients *** ****** ********* *** **** *** **** and told everybody that she will see later and made us wait till6;30 after 6;30 she told the staff to cancel every appointment or refer it to junior, I have wasted my whole day and in the end I have to go to another doctor for consultation and still I have waited till 7;45 pm. Bad experience.

Every time I waited for my number for 4 to 5 hours and in last minute she handed over to her junior Doctors for consultation. *** ***** ** * **** ****** *** ** ** **** *** ** *** ************ ******* the patient come to you with your name in nephrology department in Max Smart Saket. I will never recommend her.

Pathetic how she would taunt the patients while meeting for the first time for having ‘hypertension’. We are facing issues and that itself is a reason why to try changing the doctors, she would criticize you for trying. Extremely very dissapointed. ** ******* ** ********** ** ***

Never go to her, not even for a second opinion. She is arrogant and makes you wait ***** **** ******* ***** She is slow to respond **** *** **** ******* *** then held the patient responsible for the outcomes. I would not recommend her *** *** ************** ********* ****** ** ***** ********** ** ******

Have been consulting with her from the last 3 months. On every visit she will ask to get some test done after and on the next visit again she will again ask to get some test done that too only from her hospital without providing any information or advise on patient's current condition.

Always looking for consulting fee.

Have to wait long hours even after paying and having a prior appointment.

No clear guidance or advise shared to the patients since all she does is asks to get more tests done.

Overall very poor experience.

I have visited Dr. Alka Bhasin for my sister with proper Registration & Appointment RS 1400/ She suggested only Blood Tests, Urinalysis and Ultrasound that day of approximate RS 20000/ And after 3 days when I received all medical reports, Again I visited Dr. for further advice but to check Medical Reports and further medicine advices again she demanded Consulting fee of RS 1200/ When I asked about this to Doctor’s PA Kalpna she asked to pay again and she also told that you will have to pay again and again on each visit even if patient not getting well or facing any problem with suggested medicines. Which is very poor experience for consulting Dr. Alka Bhasin. I have never seen any Dr. demanding consulting fee twice for medicine advice after medical tests.

Dr. Bhasin is very thorough and identifies the root cause of the ailment and recommends treatment accordingly. She even directed us to a good Urologist.

She has been treating my father for a few weeks now for kidney and prostate issues and he has shown a lot of improvement. She is also warm and kind.
