Need to examine.. Any history of trauma or fever...

I have been having consistent mild pain and discomfort in my right knee. It feels weak and I can feel movement of joint bones when I flex the knee. I can especially feel the discomfort when standing for some time or climbing stairs. This had started in last 6-7 days only and was not there earlier. I go time gym regularly and do mix of cardio and strength. Do leg exercises also.

Needs blood test to rule out gout and inflammatory arthropathy like rheumatoid

I had an accident in Oct'16. I was riding a bike, got slipped and whole weight of the bike went onto my knee as I used my leg to take support. I felt extreme pain and swelling. There was no fracture in Xray. After a week I had MRI which showed ACL tear, grade-II tear in medial meniscus, some contusion in the tibia and femur and lot of effusion and oedema in the knee area. There was also sustained swelling in calf region (to some extent it is still there till now). I did physio + exercise, ROM has now become stable at 10 degree extension and 140 degree flexion. Now, I have been advised to undergo arthroscopic surgery by some sports injury specialists for finding out the cause of knee locking and perform ACL repair. Some other senior ortho doctors have advised to wait until I gain full extension else the surgery may cause stiffness of the knee. Those calling in for surgery say that we should not delay as its already been 5 months. What should I do? I am very much confused.

I have fallen from bike and had a knee injury yesterday. I had immediately visited nearby hospital and had a first aid done. I was advised with a TT and pain killers. Now am unable to bend my knee and feel swollen my legs. After x ray my doctor has informed me that there is no fractures. But pain is unbearable and difficult to walk or sit. Please advise the required steps forward. My doctor is not available in town for few days. Kindly let me if there is any other tests? How to reduce pain and treatment for the same.

I met with some internal injury on my left knee for which I had done MRI, the key findings are: - Complete tear of anterior cruciate ligament. - Mild medial meniscus extrusion with complex tear of body extending to posterior horn of medial meniscus as grade II horizontal tear. - Grade I tear of MCL. - Mild joint effusion. Doctors are suggesting for surgery which I dont want due to some other reasons. Is there any alternative to surgery like plaster, medicine etc? Kindly suggest!

Hello, I have back pain in left side of Thoracolumbar Fascia muscle for a long time now(about 18 months). It is not severe but it is constantly there, I can not sit for long, I can not jog as well, even walking for long distance sometimes hurts. I was playing football that's when I got this injury. I went to Doctors and they said it maybe slip disc but My MRI reports were okay and fine. I started playing football again because my coach told me These injuries happens, keep playing and you will be fine. That did not happen, the pain went through my entire left leg (thigh, calf). So, I started performing yoga, that cured injury to a certain limit but after a while, the progress stopped and I still feel the pain in left side of my lower back I want to be perfectly fine, 100% fit so that I can run again, play football again. Please Help me! A sincere Thank you, Saurabh Jangid
