Dr. Ajay Ajmani is an experienced Delhi-based Diabetologist and Endocrinologist with more than three decades of experience behind him. Besides an MBBS, he has procured an MD in General Medicine and the superspeciality DM degree in Endocrinology. As he pursued his DM, he was stationed at the Post Graduate Institute of Medical Research in Chandigarh. He returned to serve the Delhi Administration, this time as a Medical Specialist from June 1993 to March 1995. Subsequently, for the next four years, he was also involved in training at the Lady Hardinge Medical College in New Delhi, before he moved to the Dr. RML Hospital where he held the positions of Endocrinologist and Senior Endocrinologist/Head of the Endocrine Unit until January 2010. He is recognized as a teacher at Delhi University (Faculty of Medicine) and at IP University (Faculty of Endocrinology).Dr. Ajay Ajmani has been keenly entrenched into research dealing with thyroid, pituitary tumours and diabetes, having conducted several related studies and clinical trials. He has contributed to a large number of peer-reviewed journals and books, with articles, papers, abstracts and chapters, many of which have also been presented at conferences over the years. He regularly attends conferences, seminars and workshops on diabetes and endocrine disorders and has also participated as speaker and chairperson at various meets. Further, he has been involved as a member of the selection committee for recruiting doctors for posts in medicine and endocrinology in government Institutions. In addition, Dr. Ajmani has also been on the panel for various government projects and institutions for issues relating to diabetes and endocrine disorders. He is a member of several professional associations and bodies.

The time with doctor himself was good as he explained and listened patiently. No use of booking through Practo anyway as waiting time is common for walk in and prior appointment patients. Walked in at 11.45 am, got my turn at 1.15pm.

Very dissatisfied It was my first visit. The way he dealt with my issue made me feel he was more interested in the fees. He didn't show much interest, never asked the previous treatment, didn't care to explain. Charged Rs. 900. Diabetes needs to treated with lot of care. I went to him tensed and I left his clinic confused. His charges are too high for the concentration he gives. Moreover, It is not necessary that doctors who charge high are good doctors.

It was online visit.. Doc was not ready to listen to anything.. All he was interested in is just informing the dosage change and then disconnecting the call. He was least bother about my health report or issues. It was a very bad experience. Would not recommend him to anyone.

My husband is facing insulin issues for which we visited the doctor for the first time today. He is really patient .He went through the earlier reports thoroughly and explained the issue very well. He did not recommend any investigations or medicine, instead asked him to make certain lifestyle changes.
I would like to add that a doctor with a smile is equal to half the health issue resolved. Rest half is taken care by medicines and Dr. Ajmani is one such doctor who would make you feel that everything is just fine. I thank him for his valuable time and advise.
