As such, I welcome constructive feedback even if it has negative undertones but the patient 1. Wrongly accuses me of 'drugging' him. He was given local anesthesia as is the norm for root canals. During the treatment, the patient did complain of drowsiness but that could be linked to his medical history and the medicines he was taking. I did not administer any strong sedative and would never do so to any patient. 2. Postponed multiple appointments resulting in failure of the root canal. Such an occurrence is a treatment-related complication and can be remedied but the patient did not approach me with the same. 3. Did not show up for the further appointments which resulted in his other tooth not getting treatment. The priority tooth was treated first as it required urgent attention. 4. Did not present his problem of pain after root canal to me at all. I am coming to know of this discomfort caused to him via this feedback. No communication from his side has been attempted which is why I find this review to be in poor taste. 5. Most importantly, hasn't paid for the night guard. (which a) was a necessity due to the patient's medical and dental history and b) patient had agreed for and later denied doing so at the moment of payment. Eventually, the patient haggled for a heavy discount and even then didn't pay up after taking the device. And till date hasn't responded to the payment reminders. Nor did he write to me regarding any discomfort with the device. The records of payment reminders can be checked with Practo software. 6. He also did not take any of my calls for follow up, nor did he respond to my messages. In the light of above facts, I feel the review he has posted is unfair and not courageous at all. I do not deny the discomfort dental disease poses. But better communication and a sense of courtesy for someone who is trying to alleviate your pain would go a long way in achieving favourable treatment results. Good luck in your future endeavours.
