It's been yrs since I've been referring to Dr. Abhinav. But wanted to share my experience today. Few yrs back, one fine day, I started feeling numbness, swelling and slight pain in my tongue, right from the back of the throat where the tongue starts. By next day evening it got so worse that I could not swallow my salaiva, or talk or move my tongue. We looked for an ENT specialist closer to us in sector 19 and showed him. He was a middle aged doctor who said that he had never seen anything like this in his career and cannot say what was wrong with my tongue or throat. He gave a few medicines and asked me to get some tests done, only then he will be able to tell what's wrong with me. Anyway, I went to the path lab next day, for the tests. I made an appointment and generally asked how much would the tests be? They were a total of Rs. 8400. I thought what if I get these tests done and nothing comes out of it... all this money would go down the drain. And maybe I will have to shell more later once he figures out what's wrong with me.

I had been hearing about Dr. Abhinav from my neighbors and maids. So I went to him. He asked me a couple of questions, like what changes have I made in my daily routine, did I eat something out of my habit in last few days. I had started having aloe Vera juice since 4 days. He asked me to stop having it and gave me a medicine for just 3 days and asked me to show again. Within 2 days all my problems were gone and did not reoccur... he then told me about different types of aloe veras and the ones which is therapeutic and the ones which is wild and causes allergies. Anyway, in time I realized I am allergic to aloe Vera. If I put the gel on my face from my aloe plant, my face swells and turns red.

This simple fact, an ENT specialist couldn't tell, clearly I was a new naive bakra for him... but Dr. Abhinav never misleads you or makes you do tests regardless... since then my family has been a regular at him... and he has never disappointed.

Last year, I was diagnosed with Bell's Palsy. The condition started with my right side of the face getting completely numb and with terrible headache. I was unable to even open my mouth. A relative of mine recommend Dr. Abhinav.

I went to see him st his clinic. The experience in clinic was decent. When I saw Dr. Abhinav, he did ask me to get some tests done, majorly to rule out any other possibilities. Although, he did tell me that it was accurate symptom of Bell's Palsy which is a kind of temporary paralysis.

Post report analysis of the tests, it got confirmed that it was Bell's Palsy. Dr. Abhinav did explain me everything from which medicines to take, what physiotherapy I should go for to some face exercises in great detail. Also, as I was foing follow ups with him each month during that time, he always gave me the assurance and comfort that I needed as all of a sudden waking up with a 'frozen' face was definitely not a good feeling.

Overall, it took me good 3 months to recover completely and I give full credit to Dr. Abhinav for my recovery. Ever indebted.
