He has been trained in the United States, in the field of spine surgery / neuro-oncology / stereotactic radiosurgery and functional neurosurgery from the University of Virginia Medical center, Virginia and AGH, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA. He is an expert in minimally invasive and endoscopic surgical techniques in treating most of the pathologies affecting the brain and spine. He is currently, working as a Senior consultant in the Neuroscience department at the prestigious Vimhans hospital, 1-Industrial area, Nehru Nagar, New Delhi. He has also worked as Sr Consultant with Fortis Hospital, Max hospital, BL Kapoor hospital, and Indian spinal injuries center. He has been able to treat patients with medical management as well as surgery. He has to date performed more than 2500 critical and complex surgeries on both the brain and spine. He also offers the latest treatment techniques to treat the elderly population affected with disabling symptoms of Tremor and Parkinson’s by performing DBS (Deep Brain Stimulation) and giving them a second chance to live a near-normal life. He can perform special surgeries on patients affected with intractable pain and disabling stiffness to relieve them of their sufferings which includes spinal cord stimulators and intrathecal pumps. He treats each Neuro-Spine patient compassionately, providing each of them individually tailored treatments as per their needs giving them the maximum benefit of treatment.
