He joined UP medical services and was posted in Narendra Nagar which he left after 4 months to join CGHS in Delhi and worked in Shakurbasti Delhi for 4 years from 1976 to 1980. Subsequently, he was selected by Iran Health Ministry and worked as the medical officer in Iran for approximately 2 years from May 1980 to December 1981.
