Zyrtec syrup
My baby is 5 months old. He is suffering from dry cough for past 5 days. His paed has prescribed 3.5 ml zyrtec syrup twice a day. I have been giving the syrup since yesterday night. For past 2 days, his pee count has gone down. Earlier it used be 10+, now its 5-6 times. I have started giving water (3-4 spoons) since sunday. I feel he is sleeping alot. Pl advise

Zyrtec is preferably given after 6months and should be given 2.5ml once a day only...so you can either stop it or reduce the dose...it has nothing to do with decreased urine...don't give any water...just feed the child adequately...
