Yolk sac gsac are seen but no fetal pole
Hello doctor I am 37 yrs old and pregnant for the second time My lmp is 18th feb and i got positive upt on 16th mar My cycle is irregular ranging from 29 to 34 days I went for transvaginal usg yesterday as 7 weeks 4 days (as per lmp) but usg report says 6 weeks My gsac is 17.33 mm and yolk sac is also present Doctor has advised me to repeat the scan after 1 Week..is this normal? Do i have a chance to get fetal pole by next week? Please advise I am attaching my lastest report for your reference. I had 2 usg (gsac size 7.2 mm and got increased in the second usg to 17.33 mm) Thank you

At 6 weeks fetal pole should be seen at 7 weeks heartbeat should be seen You will have to wait and repeat the ultrasound
