Yellow teeth can be due to many reasons like calculus, plaque, stains, or some intrinsic discoloration.  it can also be that genetically your teeth are yellow in colour.  To begin with visit a dentist get an examination done & know the cause of discoloration.  then only any treatment can be planned.. firstly a full mouth cleaning & polishing will be carried out.  if after that you are happy with the resultant colour then it ends there but if not then go for bleaching.  that in all probability should solve your problem but let me tell you that's not a permanent option.  your teeth will again turn yellow in few months. a permanent option would be veneer but that will be done only after full mouth cleaning & polishing. Hope this helps

Initially get your checkup done to rule out any calculus deposits present on the teeth. If the discolouration is because of calculus deposits a simple scaling and polishing might be sufficient in your case. In case of any permanent stains like fluorosis you need to go for crowns over your teeth.
