Bleeching lasts 6months to 2years depending upon type of bleeching done, your own eating habits, hardness and type of water usd for daily use and time is decreased if you smoke. It is a cosmetic procedure and does not last for long but is better in most of the cases because we tends to avoide reduction of teeth as in vineering.
But there are better long term options available like lumineers whic are long lasting even for 10-15 years with minimal or no teeth reduction and are very very good in aesthetic.

Hello, Veneers are definitely a better and a long lasting option than bleaching. Also bleaching can lead to sensitivity issues if your enamel is thin. You need to visit a good cosmetic dentist. Regards DR SUMAN MAKAM DENTAL ARTS BANGALORE

Yellow colour may be due to colour of underlying dentin . If you don't want to go for veneers then can go for home bleaching which is long lasting.

Bleaching can be long lasting either by home or in office bleach...depending on the duration which we place and discoloration present in your tooth.

Dear Practo User, The yellow color of your teeth is because of the natural dentin color beneath enamel. You can go for home or office bleach according to your convenience. Basic difference is the duration in which you achieve results. As fas as the durability is concerned, you will have to get it redone after 6 months or a year. Regards Arham Dental Care Delhi

Your teeth doesn't seem to have lost the enamel. It's the natural colour of your teeth.  probably enamel is thin hence the yellow shade.  Bleaching can be done with effective results but please keep in mind that it is a temporary measure.  it will last for a few months maybe 6-8-10 & then again you will have to keep doing bleaching if you want that white shade.  also cos of thin enamel post bleaching you might have some sensitivity issues for a few days.
a more permanent solution to white teeth is veneer which can last for a long long time &  give you the desired results.

Hi. Your yellow teeth do not appear to have lost enamel, it may be their natural colour. If clinically found suitable, bleaching or tooth whitening may very well whiten your teeth. Both at home and in office techniques give the same result as far as the degree of whiteness achieved and the durability is concerned, the difference lies in the time taken to get the same result. Also, if you are looking for a more long lasting solution to yellow teeth veneers are better. With whitening, you will require touchups after 6-12 months.
