Wrist and finger joint pain
Hello, I had a viral fever on Nov 3to6. Temp was abt 105 deg.. During fever itself the joint pains started. Couldn't even sit in sofa and wake-up... After a week it came under manageable pain. Almost a month it continues. So I decided to go for check up on nov 25th. Doc told it may b a post viral symptoms also he take a look on my joints and said no inflammation. He also prescribed rantac b4 food and signoflam aft food for 5days twice a day.While taking tablet no pain at all. Aft 5days now the pain s again with severity... Wrist, finger bones, 10cms below knee joint, sides of thigh muscle (not in bone). All the pain in right side only... Y it's paining this much.. How long take it ll get cure? Or need go for checkup again. I don't want to take a pain killer on regular basis. Now am doing home remedies using hot water bag. Thank you

Dr N C Gupta has advised rightly. I would like to add that post viral arthritis may take weeks to go away. Take it seriously, you may visit some other doctor for a second opinion too. You may require a low dose of steroid also depending on the severity of the disease

This treatment is being suggested on bases of the information provided. However I would like to examine & investigate the patient  in detail. Control  Hypertension, Diabetes or any other metabolic disorder, if there is  any. Any way it may be tried, --. Dolokind Plus (Mankind) [Aceclofenac100 mg +Paracetamol 350 mg] 1 tab. OD & SOS. X 5 days. --. Caldikind plus  (Mankind) 1 tab OD x 10 days. (You may need help of your local doctor to get these medicines.) --. Fomentation with warm water. Let the part not be exposed to cold air. --. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding. --. Use no pillow under the head. --. Avoid painful acts & activities. -- .Do mild exercises for  all joints --.(Take help of a  physiotherapist). --Do not ignore, let it not become beginning of a major problem. --Do ask for a detailed treatment plan.
