Wounds (ghaav) in vocal chords
Hi Doctor, My mother is having hoarse voice for past around 6 months. We visited doctor 5 days back he examined and told that there are wounds on vocal chord. He told it is due to speaking beyond capacity. And gave some medicines. Even today there is very less recovery. Please suggest something on it. Thanks in advance

She seems to be suffering from chronic laryngitis secondary to voice misuse. Usually medications are not very helpful. She may need to undergo voice therapy and other voice relaxation measures. Recovery is usually slow and may take even month
