Worms in stomach
Hi, I have a burning sensation in my lower left abdomen and and i believe I saw pinworms in my stool. I took Combantrin instantly, after that I felt the pain go away and I got an itchy anus. I did a blood test and stool test 2 days after taking medication, however both are negative. Should I redo the test? should I just wait and see what happens?

You will need to watch over your hygiene. This includes washing of hands, keeping fingers nails short and clean hot wash all clothes, bed linens etc. Vacuum the home throughly especially around the bed, the mattress, wash floors. This generally happens to toddlers and young children. The combantrin dosage has to be taken as per age and body weight. Please ensure that it has been accordingly. If symptoms persist please do get int o in with us at World Gastroenterology Institute www.wgi.ooo.
