It depends on position of the wisdom tooth.Cost depends on the complexity of the position, patients age,general health, any systematic conditions like Diabetes, BP, Asthma etc of patient since it needs Special care.Average cost is as low as 2000INR to as high as 15000INR. Upper Wisdom teeth are most of the times easy and cause less discomfort. Dentist will take every care to have the procedures but in some complex teeth there may be little discomfort.

Hi, wisdom tooth removal should always be painless. So for that it's preferred you get it done from oral surgeon. Depending on your tooth position it can be a very smooth experience even after extraction or if it's a difficult one then some discomfort is experienced for 2-3 days. The discomfort can be kept to a minimum with help of antibiotics and painkiller and other supportive medicines. The cost should be somewhere between 2000-6000 depending on clinic and oral surgeon you choose. Best of luck and hope you have a great dental experience.

Hello,
Mam,the removal of the wisdom tooth is done under local anaesthesia,meaning you are awake during the procedure but you dont feel the pain.Post removal you will be put on some medication to avoid cross infections.There is bound to be some discomfort for a few days but you can continue to do all your day to day activities.Regards,Dr Sumanmakam,Dental arts,Jayanagar,Bangalore.

Average rates will be between 2500 to 5000..again subject to change.
