Hello Dear,
It is not necessary to extract wisdom tooth always. If the wisdom tooth is fully erupted and is in line of occlusion then i prefer to go for root canal treatment of that tooth. but for that we need good mouth opening so that our instrument should reach till the wisdom tooth.

It all depends on the placement of wisdom tooth whether it is straight or angulated ,whether your jaw has adequate space and if opposing tooth is present these are the factors which have to be analysed before deciding whether u should undergo rctor extraction..
If everything is favourable you can go ahead with rct otherwise extraction..tk cre
Hi,
Well it depends on the case but most of the times wisdom tooth is not of much use. In wisdom tooth, RCT is usually not done except for few situations also most times root anatomy is not favorable in Wisdom tooth. So you can go for extraction if no specific need is ascertained by your dentist.
If the wisdom tooth is fully erupted , in normal occlusion, then it is wise to save it. But if, the tooth is impacted and/or not in proper occlusion and inaccessible to clean, then it is advisable to remove it
