Whooping Caugh
My Sister suffering from Whooping Caugh, and little shortness of Breath, First we consult a Palmanologist he said it's due to High White Blood cells Count. My Sister having 17,000 White Blood Cells count. He prescribed Hetrazan 100, and Cefpo 200 one week Back, But still she's facing Caugh problem. Today we consulted another Senior Palmanologist he Said It's Aasthma and prescribed 1) duolin rotacaps 2) seroflo rotacaps 250 3) Levosalbutamol 100 mcg 4) Ipratropium Bromide 40 mcg 5) Mebendazole 100 mg Please suggest us is at because of High Blood cells or Aasthma.

Hi. I understand your concern s. It must be asthma with infective exacerbation. Follow up with your treating pulmonologist and be regular on the medications.

Its due to asthma getting aggrevated due to infection hence wbc is high, u must get a good course of antibiotics and bronchodilators.
