I m from Pondicherry , 60 yrs braces are not possible . The gap at 60 might be because of weak gums which must be corrected .
For Ortho treatment , the severity of the case decides the duration and treatment plan
Mild cases can be corrected by removable itself
Braces can be normal ones or ceramic ones
For esthetician purpose it can be worn lingually ( back of the tooth)
If affordable Alighners which transparent materials can be used to correct instead of braces .
