Sudden increase in white hair along with memory fog, zoning out, and forgetfulness strongly suggests an underlying nutritional or hormonal problem, most commonly Vitamin B12 deficiency, iron deficiency, or thyroid imbalance. These conditions can affect hair pigmentation and brain function even in young adults.
Next Steps
Get blood tests for Vitamin B12, Vitamin D3, complete blood count, iron profile, TSH (thyroid), and fasting blood sugar. These will identify correctable causes like anemia, vitamin deficiency, or thyroid disease. Once treated, both hair changes and mental fog usually improve gradually.
Health Tips
Do not ignore these symptoms as “stress” without testing. Avoid starting biotin or multivitamins blindly before blood work. Ensure good sleep, regular meals, and adequate protein intake while awaiting results.

It's almost because of nutritional deficiencies I will suggest for diet improvement and some multivitamins for around 3 months and then look for results greying will also stop and concentration will also increase

Sudden increase in white/grey hair along with poor concentration, zoning out, and forgetfulness is not normal and is often reversible. The most common causes are Vitamin B12 deficiency, iron deficiency, thyroid imbalance, vitamin D deficiency, chronic stress/anxiety, and poor sleep. These affect both hair pigmentation and brain focus. This usually does not indicate dementia or permanent brain damage, especially in younger adults. Recommended Tests • Vitamin B12 • CBC (to check anemia) • Serum Ferritin (iron stores) • Thyroid profile (TSH ± FT4) • Vitamin D3 • Fasting blood sugar (if not done recently)
Next Steps
• Do the above tests first • Avoid starting supplements before testing • Review sleep, stress levels, and diet • If tests are normal and symptoms persist → further evaluation can be planned
Health Tips
• Ensure 7–8 hours of sleep • Increase protein, fruits, vegetables • Reduce mental overload and screen time • Manage stress (very important for memory)
