Wheat, yes or no?

Now a days, people are going for gluten free diet despite they don't have Celiac disease or wheat allergy. Does that make any sense, or is it just a fad?

According to Ayurveda we have to eat whatever is growing in that land. Means have to take staple diet of that area.. In costal environment digestion is weaker compared to mountanious regions so have to ha e lighter diet. Now let's see wheat.....Wheat is defenately heavy to digest given the environmental conditions... I would recommend to have jwari, bajari, for costal region... This is the reason why North Indian people have heavy diets compared to south Indian people who have rice as their major food

Hello.  It's not the wheat which is causing problems.  Its gluten present in maida which causes serious problems.  Remember.... Any thing processed using synthetic material is dangerous to health.
