Frozen shoulder is a very broad term to depict various problems in shoulder. You are having the problem of frozen shoulder i.e. the stiffness and pain in the shoulder worst at night which makes you awake from sleep. the person is not able to move the arm at end range. to move the arm and behind/at your back as required in scratching, is painful. In my opinion you need to control your diabetes 1st...and need to consult a general physician for that after that u need to go for long term physiotherapy sessions as it takes time to cure frozen shoulder in diabetic patients...in physiotherapy u need to do shoulder mobilisation and Tens / US / hot pack...
