Firstly fat around thigh and stomach increases due to more of sitting posture and sedentery lifedtyle and doing beinge eatind and late night eating, so you just have to reverse it like do some excercise like 5days a week and eat home cooked food with lot of vegetables and avoid packed food and stop being eating
First of all, don’t worry, we r in a sedentary lifestyle and weight gain is a very easy occurance for everyone. Here I ll tell u few things to approach it.
1) first we can measure and make a goal. Measure ur height and calculate body mass index ( its weight in kg divided by height square in meter, calculators will be available in google). Then make a weight goal for u so that ur body mass index less than 25
2) make a few initial tests: liver function test, kidney function test, thyroid function test, total lipid profile, vitamin d level, ecg, as u r in ur mid thirties and ruling out medical abnormalities will b a best start
3) look at stress factors in ur life; a) r u sleeping around 10pm? B) r u having a stressful job or lifestyle? C) r u taking junk food and lot of sugary items? D) r u getting enough body movement a day
4) now we have to rectify each problem.
If u have a a) work on a better sleep schedule and get at least 8 hrs of sleep, if u have b) try reducing stress from life or make a way to outcome it like practice yoga, meditation, if u have d) if possible join gym, or get adequate body movement whatever possible to u ( u can get aerobic exercises video from YouTube and do it for half an hr, go for walk/ run, or play a music and randomly dance for half an hr as a starting and to get body movements) and if u have c) u have to calculate approximate calories u consume and cut down on calories and maintain a healthy plate with 30% of carbohydrates, 30% of protein and 30% of fruits and vegetables and 10 percent of fat, this may look complicated but if u have little patience. Please cut down on sugar, avoid junk food as much as possible, substitute soda with water, having more protein and eat more vegetables and fruits, u can get dietitian advice also,
5) I know this is lot of things to do. But start as early as possible with whatever possible measures with u,
