Weight loss is a process and it has to be done the right way to ensure it is sustainable and long lasting. To achieve a consiberable weight loss a customized diet is highly recommended as it takes into account your lifestyle, routine, medical conditions, eating habits, height, weight, physical activity, etc. This helps in identifying the gap areas and correcting them accordingly.
As a start follow the guidelines below -
1. Never skip meals & have balanced meals
2. Include protein rich foods such as dals, pulses, sprouts, low fat milk & milk products, eggs, non-veg, etc in every meal
3. Drink 2-3 liters of water daily
4. Exercise for 45 minutes daily

It's very important to have a good mind set when you go for weight loss, you cannot lose everyday so checking weight everyday really gives you stress and weight really fluctuate everyday due to many reasons.

For a while you can follow following weight loss tips which may help you to some extent but for proper result you need to follow a personalized plan
1) Drink Good amount of water. As drinking less water can lead to water retention which is one of the reason of weight gain.
2) Include fiber in your diet. For that you can eat lots of fruits and vegetables.
3) Do minimum 40 minute activity daily.As after 30 minutes our body enter fat burning zone.
4) Eat small & frequent meals.
5) You can include Green tea post lunch and post dinner.
6) Mind the portion size of whatever u eat,Don't overeat.

2. Take high fibre diet and low fat and carbohydrates diet plan and do exercise.
3. Stop eating outside foods and packets foods , junk foods etc fatty .
