Hi thanks for your query. Oat is a good food as whole grains with all proper nutrition. Now a days most if the international Co are promoting oats as break fast meals.Although there is no relation of weight gain or loss but it keeps fit by blood circulation, fibre rich. all obese or underweight can eat as snacks or meal with full nutrition value.
