For gaining weight, you can consider these suggestions :

Just by eating all foods, one might not be able to gain weight, there are multiple factors involved in digestion and absorption of food. Also there are genetic reasons why a person looks a certain way. Try to include nutritious foods in your diet like egg,non veg, pulses, dairy products, nuts, etc regularly in your diet.
Have a balanced diet
Reduce chances of stress build up in the body.
