Weight gain during pregnancy and feeding
I'm a mother to a 10 months old baby. I was 57kgs before pregnancy and I've put 10 kgs during pregnancy. Post delivery, a normal one, I was 60.5 after a week. Now in 10 months I'm on and off 64 kgs. I badly want to reduce weight for my mental peace. I'm currently on medication for anxiety. Rexipra 20mg and zapiz 0.25mg. I don't know if these cause weight gain but somehow I'm not happy with my stamina and weight. I was a very active person earlier. Used to do around 48 surya namaskaram daily..now i want to go back to that me and enjoy what I'm doing. Right now I'm in stress due to this and I'm not able to give 100% to my personal and professional life. Kindly help

As a mother, sometimes it’s hard to find time for yourself. First start with maintaining your weight. Once you find time for a regular exercise plan, focus on losing weight along with a healthy diet plan. Any good dietitian can help you with that

Hello. There are many changes in a female's body during and post pregnancy. A weight loss process post pregnancy is going to be slow. Because of the changes in the body it is very humanly possible to have anxiety during the process of accepting the body the way it is. But definitely one can work towards getting back in shape. start with doing surya namaskar everyday, and increase the number of surya namaskars every day by one more. This will slowly increase your stamina. Along with surgya namaskar you can opt for other asanas too that will aid in your body fitness. Remember, you are not eating just for yourself, it is for your child too. Eat healthy stay fit and keep a positive out look towards your body changes.
