Weight and calcium
I want to know the ideal weight of girl of 2.5 years. Secondly, my daughter doesn't drink milk neither she likes milk products like dahi.How should I compensate for her calcium requirement.

A 2.5 year old girl should weigh anywhere from 11 to 16 kg. Active children would be on the lower side. Regarding not liking dairy products, the calcium can be obtained from greens , beans , sardines if possible and ragi. You would also need to give her vitamin D as a supplement especially if she does not spend adequate time in the sun. Calcium and vitamin D suspension would be beneficial for her .
