WBC count are 17500 in 1 year
Hello, I would like to ask about the issue related to WBC count for my daughter age 1 year was 17500 yesterday and doctor gave her Ceftriaxone injection. I would like to know is it serious issue to have blood injection in such counts? and do i need another Ceftriaxone injection today for my daughter? Is it sign for something serious doctor?

High WBC count may signify infection and your doctor may suggest injection course as may be the clinical condition of the child, treat the child and not the report
