Want to understand about cervical cancer
Hi doctor's I'm 33, mother of a 3 year old kid, sexually inactive. Since last 4-5 month iam getting a small cut (not a razor cut), inside as well as on the outer side of vagina at same side. Im not using any razor. This cut/ wound suddenly happens anyday and than gets normal in 4-5 days but comes back in 5-7 days. It's painful to even walk. I maintain well my vaginal cleaning so it's definitely not a hygein issue. I'm planning on starting with pap smear test every 5 year But i want to understand is this something i should be concerned about. And if i have this cut/ wound when going for pap smear would it affect the results. Also for pap smear can i myself get a self testing done by any gynaecologist clinic or it would only be done if doctor feels it's needed.
