Dear Practo User,
The ideal form of exercise for PCOS is moderate exercises (don't have to begin with strenuous activity otherwise there are more chances of discontinuing it ) and brisk walking is example of one of those.Others can be yoga, aerobics.
This has to be done for at least 30 mins daily and should be accompanied with a diet modification which should include cutting down carbs, sugars and fats and should be at frequent small intervals.
Next Steps
PCOS will improve if you manage to reduce 10-15% of your body weight.
As such for pcos LIFE STYLE MODIFICATION is recommended. Its exercise in all forms depending on the convinience_ ranging from brisk walk, yoga, aerobics, to power workouts.. Along with dietary modifications
any form of exercise is recommended.. u need to loose weight and follow a planned diet... that will correct your hormone imbalances and cycles will get xorrected
