Vitamin d3 drops 3d forte and zincovit
Hi doctor, My baby is 9 days old.. doctor suggested to take vitamin d3 drops 3 d forte and zincovit after drinking it baby is pooping a lot.. dosage of vitamin d3 drops 3 d forte - mrng 8 am 0.5 ml for 3 months. dosage of zincovit - mrng 8 am 3 drops for 1 year Please suggest is this dosage is fine..

Yes..doses are perfect.... Usually newborn baby passes stool 7 to 8 times per day which is absolutely normal.... Burp well... You can give digestive drops if needed....

Hi! Nothing to worry. You can give vitamin d3 and zincovit at different time , need not give both at once. Try giving one in morning and other in the evening and see so that osmolarity isn’t high that way. Dosage to be given as prescribed by your doctor.

Its normal to poop more times at this age. Its not related to the drops. If baby birth weight is above 2.5kg then you can give only vitamin D3 and stop others.
